Do YOU? Equestria Girls was completely canon and in-line with the rest of the show’s story. McCarthy unequivocally confirmed as much, not that she needed to. I could understand calling the comics or the books a spinoff, but EqG does not qualify as such in the least.

What are you talking about? Sunset isn’t in some special category, she’s a normal villain like the rest of them.

When it comes to Magic, then, the only creature more powerful than Tirek that could POSSIBLY exist now is Grogar.

All of the major villains used magic. This pic is missing folks like Gilda, Flim and Flam, etc., but I don’t consider them to be major villains. Yes, we have Trixie, but I actually consider her (especially when she had the Alicorn Amulet) to be a higher-ranked villain than some of the lesser antagonists. I also consider Sunset Shimmer to be a major one, if in more of a spin-off ‘chapter’ of the MLP saga.
