I bet you expected Tempest’s song here from the title? Nope, there is a different song by the same name that helped really created this simple little scene, Open Your Eyes by The Aviators. This takes place after my piece ‘The Duel’ in which Dawn Reflection fails to defeat her half-sister Gamma Ray. Forced to flee from her mother’s castle, Dawn seeks out the help of the only unicorn she knows who is both an expert in combat and who has magical might - despite her broken horn, her ‘aunt’ Tempest Shadow. In my universe there is no Tempest x Twilight Sparkle shipping, however, Tempest is a very dear friend of Twi’s and therefore seen as something like an aunt by Twilight’s daughter.
