Mostly self-explanatory. The manticore is a carnosaur with wings and the sea serpent a pholidosaurid-ish thing who used to have brightly colored patches on his snout before Nightmare Moon took them away (by magic, duh). Rarity adorns him with her tail feathers to cheer him up. (How do they attach to his head? Magic!) They don’t show up that well against his already purple scales, but as long as he likes them… (And don’t worry, his snout patches will restore themselves eventually.)
