The Strong-Willed Queen of Clubs: Queen Chrysalis
It’s ok. I just wanted to make them more interesting is all instead of just putting the characters in it as they are in the show and wanted some way to help distinguish which suit they belong to. Originally the Spades were gonna be villains etc. But I always had trouble getting enough characters to fit each so I changed it.

I know, still dislike the style, but I admit they are well designed.

That was kinda what the time period was with them though. I don’t have all of my cards up here but there’s a theme to each suit and since Hearts was 16-18th Century France, royalty tended to go for gaudy and then Diamonds is the Ancient Roman Empire so again it’s kinda the thing. Sure Clubs are Feudal Japan I just couldn’t stand looking at Chrysalis with that make-up. Couldn’t tell that’s who she was.
Same here. I’m all for regal and proud, but when its overdone it looks terrible.
This is just right on the mark for Chrysalis, In my opinion.
