I want to go back to the days where fedoras were just another hat and not some shitty internet meme people throw around

The people who turn things into stereotypes are the people who complain about vividly elaborate preconceived ideas of what their most hated enemies are, when they see things only vaguely reminiscent of them.

Well, that’s sort of the point. Before I knew about the stereotypes, I sort of wanted to wear such a silly hat and say such stupid things precisely because it would be a silly and stupid thing to do.

Like dressing as Santa on Halloween and handing out candy canes, or making a Jack-o-Lantern with a Watermelon.

The fact that someone would make an honest, non humorous or mocking, effort to appear like that and use words like “M’lady”… It does not make sense.

It’s like wearing a Tophat and Monocle, and carrying a cane like the Monopoly guy. You only do that sort of thing as a parody, right?

@Robomorons

The people who say nonsense like “I WANT THE DAYS WHEN THOSE WORDS WERE NOT A FUCKING STEREOTYPE BACK” are the exact people who turned it into a “stereotype”.
