Flying’s a bit more difficult to do quickly when your game is larger and contains more detailed graphics.

Agreed, I’ve even thought out a stat spread:  
Ability: Analytic  
HP: 100  
Atk: 70  
Def: 80  
Sp. Atk: 120  
Sp. Def: 135  
Spe: 95  
Total: 600
 
Basically an inferior (but so much cuter :3), bit more offensive version of Lugia.
 
Psychic/Flying could be better. 4x resist to Fighting tho.

I’d imagine Twilight would be a pseudolegendary. Shame psychic/flying is pretty poor typing.

Yeah, that would probably look better, but knowing it’s a shrunken vector kinda explains why it looks like that.  
Great edit nonetheless. I can see something like this being a great romhack.

Technically, third version (Charizard was first able to learn fly in Yellow Version). And even then if you want to get REALLY technical, that was actually the SIXTH version of the game (Japanese Red/Green, Japanese Blue, US Red/Blue, and Yellow).

And this just reminds me of how for whatever reason, Gen III was much faster-paced than all following generations. Seriously, the Fly animation in this gen takes like a couple seconds, whereas in Gen IV, it takes like 10 seconds (but Gen IV was slower in every regard. Especially the saving. Dear GOD, the saving. Why is it that simply going into the Box and exiting WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING causes that stupid “Saving a lot of data” crap? At least until HGSS, anyway…) and then Gen VI added an unnecessary “arrival” animation that was literally the same animation that had just played but in reverse, making Flying to a single location take 30 seconds each time.
 
Did GameFreak forget that Flying to locations is supposed to be, y’know, quick and convenient?

And just like Charizard, she doesn’t learn “fly” until the third series. :P
