What bothers me is how the members of the villainous teams don’t end up in prison once the team is defeated. I mean they belonged to what is essentially an extremist organization committing blatant acts of terrorism yet they don’t get arrested after their leader is defeated. Malva is the most egregious case thus far. She’s still free to be a member of the elite four after Lysandre is defeated despite being a staunch supporter of team Flare. What’s to stop her from starting up team flare again?

They always leave stuff like that undone in the first versions so that the “sequels” can have something new to offer, like in B/W, where only your rivals and N had moving sprites, while in B2/W2 EVERYONE had them.

Didn’t like the real grunts do just that as well? In the postgame, every grunt you can find says that they don’t support Team Flare’s ideals anymore, but STILL they have their suits on. I swear those pieces of clothing must have some kind of hidden addiction-causing drug sewn into the fabric that causes the wearer to not be able to remove them!

I know that, I played the game, but I have beaten a few grunts with just that.

Also, anyone else find it weird that the Team Flare members, the rivals, Professor Sycamore, and the Champion are the only ones with 3D models in the actual battles? All the other trainers, including the Gym Leaders and Elite Four members, just have 2D portraits.

Actually, Team Flare has a lot more than just Fire-types. They’ve got the Zubat line, the Poochyena line, several other Dark-types and Poison-types…
 
In fact, IIRC, the Houndour line is the only Fire-type line they actually use.
 
Though maybe I’m just not familiar with Clawitzer’s (that’s the evolved form, right? I keep forgetting whether Clauncher is the first form or the evolved form) movepool…
