I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if Humanverse ages were synced exactly to Ponyverse ages, Celestia and Luna would be dead, fucking dead. Any other timey-wimey shenanigans pale in comparison to those two not being footnotes in history class.
I wouldn’t say the put little effort In EQG’after all they had to make a bunch of new characters,create new environments and sync the movements of bipedal characters to the animation,especially during songs and what about that awesome intro,that tune was stuck in my head for a while.
Sure, FIM may be a “cash grab” if that’s how you want to look at it, but its creators are actually trying to make something good of it.
EQG on the other hand, seems to have had very little effort put into it, and only exists because Hasbro wants to steal some of Monster High’s market share.
