I think that should be the plot of episode 100. Honestly, that would be the best place to do it so the characters can evolve past the pursuit of them.

See, this is why I think this should have been a Sweetie Belle episode, even if you disregard some of the songs in the past. But then again, you can’t dance around that issue without giving Sweetie her cutie mark, so I see why they went this route.
