Some people say the “villain” of most of the 2nd part of the story (Upheval : Reckoning) Is made out to be a little too perfect. While I don’t think she is perfect myself, I do think the author might have made her a little too good at stuff in general. I still think the story is great myself, but that could put some people off. Other than that, just be aware that is is a war fic and it doesn’t hold back on the descriptions, so expect some dark stuff going on at times. I mean there are hopeful moments too, its not just “dark and edgy” type of dark, but it can get brutal. Also it’s really long. I remember there being a pretty good fan made audio version on Youtube if you would rather listen to it.

It’s pretty good, but it’s long and naturally has a large cast of OC’s. Other than that, it’s just your run of the mill adventure/worldbuilding epic.
