For a moment I thought maybe this was some form of spoiler, lol, would be funny if Scootaloo tried to get bigger wings through some sort of magic and this resulted.

well they are little ponies which are waist high at best plus these 3 are foals so they are maybe knee height. take in scootaloos size she is slightly larger then the average person as is a normal sized horse.

Headcanon: for the past year or so, Applebloom and SweetieBelle, feeling empathetic for their friend in her lack of proper wing development, had been trying to help. They had been doing so discreetly, as they rightly judged Scootaloo too proud to gracefully accept assistance in the matter. Just about every day, AB and SB snuck a small quantity of edible-form Equine Growth Hormone out of the pharmacy shipment wagon that parked just outside of town, every time leaving a few bits in its place (part of their pooled allowances), though they had no idea how much EGH cost. In most every meal that the trio ate together, the two fillies managed to apply the dose to Scootaloo’s food such that she didn’t notice. Unfortunately, and to rather comedic effect, the hormone induced isometric upscaling of Scootaloo’s body in addition to accelerating the natural development process. And instead of causing a gradual change, as AB and SB hoped, it had no effect for months and months until suddenly it worked one night.
