That part still gives me goosebumps it’s so epic, and awesome for a final boss. Even if he is kinda easy. Assuming, you figure out the roll trick, and have the Biggoron sword, or experiment with your other equipment.

Well, in my case: Have you seen Bram Stoker’s Dracula ? Gary Oldman (playing the title character) is in character quite well, so his liens are deep and gravely— so when I finally got around to watching it last month, I had to put on subtitles from that, and the fact that the sound quality got lost somewhere in the years before the film-to-blu-ray conversion.
 
If he spoke clearly, I think that’d lessen the film.
 
In the case of that fight, I do like that you can barely see everything in the full version, except a bit when the lightng flashes. It harkens back to the origional concept they were going to do for that fight, which, in short: It was going to be Shadow of the Colossus.
 
Interstingly, SotC was released…. exactly seven years after OoT was released, and the final COlossus was also a horned humanoid.

Ah, that makes sense. I can understand why people felt that it ruined the atmosphere of the fight, though.

It was more the lighting of the arena.

I’m probably the only one who doesn’t mind the removal of the shadow effect from Ganon’s model in the 3DS version… Seriously, I don’t think you could ever see the full details of the model at any point in the original. Which is a shame too, because I’m betting that it was a pretty impressive model for its time.

You can stun him with Deku Nuts. DEKU NUTS. It’s an incredibly short stun time, mind you, but the fact that it’s possible is ridiculous.

I jump attacked him with the Biggoron Sword. Surprisingly, it’s easy to do it in the second half with the Master Sword.
 
This Ganon is a f*cking joke to me now.

You are correct. Same with beating Ganondorf in TWW without reflecting a Light Arrow from Tetra!Zelda off your shield, or in TP without using the Fatal Blow.

Yeah Gourmet. It’s possible to beat this Ganon without Light Arrows. His ALttP and TLoZ versions on the other hand, well. I’m sure that those guys can’t be defeated without Silver Arrows.
