I think it’d be funny if, even after Rainbow Dad’s official name is established, Pinkie Pie will call him “Rainbow Dad” anyway.

Spitfire learned that her actions in getting rid of Soarin was wrong, and for that, she gave Rainbow Dash a medal.
Now that I see the pattern, I think Weird Al will give Pinkie a magic trinket for teaching him a lesson in “Pinkie Pride”.
I would LOVE to see something similar happen in the show…So very much…
