Crippling fear of needles.
I did mine 3 times as well; all went smoothly.
I had good grades so I could pick myself up and could redo whatever work I had to do.
The first time was fine (given the face that I have a needle in my arm).
The second time I started getting the chills half way through. My science teacher at the time was being a wise ass and told me that I don’t get extra credit if I faint.
The third time was like the second only worse. I was like: “That’s it! I’m not doing another one until I get my BMI up.” My BMI was borderline under weight back then and I’m up to average now. I’m thinking of doing another if it doesn’t conflict with my schooling.
The Red Cross keeps telling me I’m this good guy, even though my blood won’t save anyone’s life. But I still do it, ‘cause why not?
Anyway, I think I’d only trust very patient unicorns with this procedure.
