Well OBVIOUSLY, Twilight Sparkle could just be possessing Rainbow Dash’s body in this edition of the doll. Wouldn’t be a far off idea considering she’s the embodiment of Magic.

(Also I disagree with you in terms of the film. They were made for the dolls in the first place, yes, but that was all Hasbro’s call and not DHX’s. To me though personally, the show staff made the best out of it. Heck, you can argue the entire series, while awesome and incredible, is at the same time, also trying to sell toys. Or for that matter, any other show HASBRO has ever done ever.)

yeah EQG is a horrible commercial for the fugly dolls. but your all missing the point it says twilight sparkle and that’s clearly … rainbow dash.
