After a thousands i wouldn´t wonder if she uses her guards for more duties then just guarding her.  
A mare has needs, especially an alicorn who controls stars and the moon. Really especially after thousand lone years.
 
The guards must be terrifed of her by now. XD

Meh. It turned out that Luna doesn’t need protection from anyone, although the people might need protection from her.
 
I can’t really imagine Luna being broken up over someone saying “No.” Well, okay, I can, but I think that her reaction would be less flying to the moon to cry for a hundred years, and more raining endless destruction upon whatever foolish filly declined her advances.
