Wow, I need to proofread my comments before I post them.

I say, Total Drama isn’t really much of a bad show, but it isn’t a good show. I’d say it’s 50-50 and that’s not for everyone, although I like the show myself, I understand why people hate the plot twists, some of the mean-spirited characters, the love triangles and the moments where it forcibly tries to be funny as Hell, but ends up with the gag failing miserably. It is at least more watchable than Johnny Test or Fanboy and Chum Chum, I’ll give it that. (Which I is not on Cartoon Network. I just can’t think of any other show on CN that isn’t watchable besides the onee listed her and previous comments.

Oh my God, I am so glad I ain’t the only one that hates that stupid fucking orange. It’s one of the those “What has science done” moments and I still can’t believe that it got a TV spinoff. Makes me glad that my cable was cut off. (Although, unfortunately, there’s always Netflix

Johnny Test I hate as much as Annoying Orange but the TD series has been a guilty pleasure of mine. I lost interest inbetween World Tour and Season 4 but actually like the current All-Star season.

They’re both godawful, with hideous character designs, and, much to the dismay of everyone over 12, they have gone on for WAY too long.

End of season 4, he was arrested for dumping all that toxic waste onto the island (one of the few times I can remember where he got some form of comeuppance). Season 5 starts with Chef bailing him out of jail and you briefly get a scene of Chris having gone temporarily insane during the one year he was in jail between seasons.

Episode 1 had him in jail trying to get bugs to “compete” with one another and treating some kind of peanut as the new chef. I think it’s safe to say he’s getting more insane each season.
 
I still find it amusing that this is the first season to air in the States first before it’s native Canada. Wouldn’t be surprised if season 6 does the same given that Total Drama is arguably the most popular show from that specific team of people here in this part of the North American continent (we got 6teen and Stoked, but 6teen never got a lot of buzz on Cartoon Network, and Stoked never finished season 1 here due to poor ratings, even airing episodes after TD Action and World Tour didn’t help).
 
I know the show is a MAJOR “love it or hate it” affair but personally I’m more on the side that likes it. Yeah seasons 2 and 3 had their ups and downs, but season 4 was refreshing with the new cast, and season 5’s not bad so far for what I’d typically call a “fanservice season” (for those who don’t follow, season 5 is the one where they bring back most of the fan favorites from the original cast and the new cast in a “heroes vs villains” role). I guess it’s because I’ve never cared much for actual reality shows, so something that’s more of a goofy parody of said shows just appeals to me more.
