What I got from it was that I expected Raiden to ask the Colonel or Snake how to breath because he can’t into Snake professionally.
That and the whole incident was a manufactured real-life simulation the Patriot AIs were using to prove that under a certain set of circumstance any person can be crafted into the person they want by exposing him to the right environment. For Raiden it was to try and make the next Solid Snake.
Also a lot of free choice stuff and Solidus is pretty legit.
I think I gave myself too much time to think about it.
I guess.
All I got was “Raiden beat Solidus up, everything may or may not be a simulation. Oh hey, that’s Vamp in the background, I guess it was real.”
Is it me, or am I one of those types who can somehow make sense of it?
Too bad the ending still doesn’t make sense.
On top of that, Kojima was determined to complete and release the game within 2001, since the marketing campaign was capitalizing on “the year of the Snake”. A lot of stuff was cut simply because of this deadline, but at least some of it was later added in Substance.
They basically had to cut half the game due to similarities with 9/11.
Yea, I think they were intended for the later half of the game but were ultimately left out when they ran out of time. And instead of fighting Chinaman and having sharks thrown at us, we got to fight Vamp…
Twice I think.
Scrapped members. Chinaman was supposed to have a dragon tattoo that he could bring to life.
Planned characters that got tossed out during the making of the game i think
