Probably is easier to make, but I agree with you.
I have no idea why Hasbro has Spike walking on all 4 limbs here, instead of 2 like he does in the show. Maybe they thought that made him look cuter or more like a pet or accessory; maybe it was easier or cheaper to make the mold that way. I just hope they repackage the Spike in this set in some cheaper set.
