I always assumed she didn’t make it, as it would create a time paradox big enough to cover the entire season, and because Chrono Stone has been handling death as something natural since its very beginning.
The scene is a bit more cheerful in the anime, in game Fei didn’t seemed to truly believe in her words, it was changed probably because it was too depressing..
Heh, indeed. Originally, she´s dead. But in a alternative timeline, she is alive. At the end, it´s implied she reverted this, but we don´t know for sure.
