But the fandom itself was what got me to like her, what with it’s fanart and fanfics. {I also realized how adorable she is.}

Well I believe you there but another problem I see is that the movie was just a retelling of the first book while Ultima 9 was its own game and completely betrayed all the other Ultima games.
