I find it stupid because the drawing at hand isn’t being obnoxious about it. It’s a way of characterizing a humanization with something that we have here, in our world. It’s not like it’s preaching or anything. Besides that, since it’s a humanization, it wouldn’t be bringing religion into ponies. It would be bringing ponies to the real world, which just happens to include religion.

I get where you’re coming from, I just don’t think it’s worth downvoting over. Call me petty, I guess. But I’d defend this picture, whatever the religion was, too. Live and let live.

But you’re right about the colors. The hijab could have afforded to be darker.

“Wanting to keep real-world religion out of my Ponies is stupid?”

Very much so. They aren’t your ponies. It’s not really your place to try and keep people from mixing it with religion.

Stupid reason? Wanting to keep real-world religion out of my Ponies is stupid?

I would say (and have said) the exact same thing if ’Shy were depicted as Christian or Jew or Hindu or Sikh or Buddhist or whatever.

Also, poor colour-matching in the face (that skin tone does not go with that shade of pink).
