They hit all of the same visual cues that the show’s art style typically uses among relatives; the same kind of style for drawing the hair, same patterns in the color schemes, aesthetically similar cutie marks. It makes a lot of sense, from a design standpoint
They’re so physically similar, especially for two brand-new supporting characters introduced at the same time, that it’s actually harder to believe that they weren’t intended to be related.
Yes, but Party Favor is just another Cheese Sandwich. They pretty much fill the same role except Party Favor is a Unicorn.
Party Favor was waaaay more useful than Double Diamond.

Did you not see that I put ‘if’ idiot? Honestly do you post an insult before you even read the comment? I never said they were brother and sister. I mearly suggested the notion because they are very similar in their design. Otherwise they are just two equestrians.
Unless you want to argue that Starlight Glimmer is Twilight’s sister too, then similar looks means nothing on its own.

what the fuck implies that they are siblings? seriously, nothing in the episodes suggest that.
Why the only one worth mentioning is Double Diamond. Night Glider is just a recolor of Spitfire. Party Favor and Sugar Belle maybe if the are in fact brother and sister. Otherwise they are just more background equestrians.
