Not sure if bait. Probably bait.
First off its twelve principles. I know the guy doesn’t do everything that Frank Thomas suggests since he’s pumping out an hour long movie in two weeks and needs to be utilitarian with his drawings, but he definitely does some things well. I’d say he follows the staging, slow in and out, arc, exaggeration, solid drawing, and appeal principles here. Yeah, you probably can’t compare Tamers with expensive Disney Movie quality animation, but it’s weird to say it doesn’t have its merits.

I’m sorry to say but Shattered Harmony is just bad. They don’t seem to know any of the 7 principles of animation.
