Bad End AU:Mother Dearest pt 1
I decided to explore the relationship the mane 6 have with their children in this AU, and how they feel about it.

Twilight: She tries, she really tries. Her relationship with her daughters was very distant at first, they were a constant reminder of what she was now: a trophy for Nightmare Moon. She couldn’t bear to even see Spectra when she was born, she warmed up to them after Astral’s birth, they wanted her, loved her even though she tried to keep her distance. It was as the years went by that she noticed, how Spectra had her Luna’s eyes, or how Astral had her brother’s light coat. That the oldest liked to tease he younger just like Shining played with her, How both had the same insecurity Twilight had over succeeding. How they had part of her as well, a part she would shelter from the darkness that threatened it.

Applejack: After everything that happened, at the very first chance for a family she had, she took it. Sure, her marriage with Starlight was rushed but, didn’t she deserved some happiness? She was so happy when they had her children. Applejack would be the perfect mother to them, just like she remembered hers. She is really supportive of her kids, even though they didn’t really had much in common, at least her two oldest had a competitive spirit like her, just in different fields, and with Crescenta she could share her knowledge of plants and such. Her youngest, Jonagold (not in the picture) is the apple of her eye. Looking back, she wishes she had seen what Starlight really was, and wishes her kids would see that now. At least she enjoyed her whole family for a while.

Rarity: Life was so generous for giving her a family after all what happened. Her children are her pride and joy, and she sure shows it. She doesn’t have to apologize for taking pride in her marriage, her family, she know people think she should. How is that Rarity, the most promising fashion designer in Equestria ended up with a brute tyrant, and bearing his children? simple, because she wanted to. She still has that elegant air, but say something about her precious babies and she will give you a death galre through her sharp lashes.
