Bad End AU: Prologue
Yayy! I’m starting the story! Takes place in S4 Twilight’s kingdom, please take in mind that this is an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE to the events of the show were the mane 6 never defeated Tirek, and the villains took over Equestria.

The throne room, usually full of diplomats and members of the court, was now almost empty if not for three princesses who were full of dread and fear for their land. The resurging threat of Lord Tirek was coming straight for their magic along with Discord, and without the elements they knew their magic could only do so much to them.

“We have no time to waste, Tirek is coming for us and he has consumed so much magic we will not likely succeed in defeating him” Luna spoke, she and her sister had already seen what he was capable of back in the day “But what can we do? “-asked Cadence-“We cannot let him destroy Equestria!” “And we won’t we will protect it until our last breath, but we can only put our thrust in a miracle now” Celestia said, the three of them had faced many foes in the past, but nothing like the forces of chaos and magic combined. “We could wait for Twilight and her friends to free the elements from the tree, maybe there is a way to take them back” “No, it will only cause more trouble if we disturb the tree of harmony” Celestia corrected Cadance.

Luna walked over to one of the vitrals that decorated the room, the sun shining bright in the sky, her sister’s sun, who would not shine no more if Tirek got her, and she knew that Shining Armor was outside the room, protecting all of them, Cadance’s love for him so strong even she could feel it, something Luna felt for Twilight, who she was sure was doing her hardest to help, and her friends too. She wanted to protect them so badly, but how? Until a thought crossed her mind, the moment when she was the most powerful, was when she was possessed by Nightmare Moon, she was so powerful the elements had deemed her a punishment of 1000 years in the moon and her powers never weakened in those years. It was a bad idea, she absolutely hated it, but it was the best chance they had, she would offer her body to Nightmare in exchange of defeating Tirek and Discord and maybe Twilight would have got the elements back to rid her from the dark entity again.

The princess of the night turned to her sister and niece and placed her wings around them in a tight hug “Sister,what’s wrong”? “I know you won’t approve of what I will do, but please know I’m doing this on good behalf” said Luna, before murmuring a spell that made Celestia fall onto the red carpet “Luna! What are you doing?!” rushed Cadance to help her aunt “I put her in a sleeping spell, SHE has a grudge against her, she will most likely hurt Tia, keep her safe” “Luna, don’t tell me you are trying to-“the terrified pink alicorn spoke, being interrupted by Luna, tears straining down her face “Please Cadence, please, it’s the only way…stay safe” her horn began to glow and a black fog started to consume her form, while Cadance ran away to his husband carrying Celestia with her magic. The last thing she heard was a dark cackle emerging from the throne room.
