Don’t forget that this artist has a regular customer for his images who loves to see Derpy suffer for no reason. So keep in mind that there is a very high chance that good will hardly win in this story and no one will stop Sombra.

It would have been cool that one close was actually Chrissy disguised and deals Sombra a fatal blow.
As Sombra said, they are destroyed. All of the changelings were killed, including their queen. This war was hinting throughout the comic. And now it comes full circle. The Crystal Empire is victorious, and their main enemy and threat has been taken care of. They will have a large period of peace.
The changelings fought to the last to protect their queen. She was the last to die
Maybe they are twins.
