New Biography: Word Bearer, born to two thestrals who worked for Ayacachtli’s local newspaper company on 21 December 980, was not interested about his education outside of theodicy, the philosophy of religion. Despite being an overall good student, he lacked the desire to learn anything else other than religious studies. Unlike other assignments, which were bland and boring, when he wrote about Nightmare Moon, his words flowed like a river, weaving ideas like a tapestry and producing works worthy of praise. When he decided to try to become a Moonspeaker, however, he was rejected hard for his Nightmareist faith. Dismissing worship of the Moon as foolish in the face of the magical might of the alicorns, and further dismissing the Lunarists who viewed Luna and Nightmare Moon as one and the same, he found his calling with the most extreme of the extreme: the Nightmareists, who exclusively worshipped Nightmare Moon as the true goddess of the night. Yet, she was defeated not once, but twice.

For many, Word Bearer included, this was a crisis of faith, yet he held fast to his faith and delivered sermons decrying this as evidence of the Nightmare’s growing power against the Elements of Harmony. For before, they had banished Her in the Moon for a millennia; now, they only imprisoned her inside Luna. In the years following the Nightmare’s regression into Luna, he would write psalms and prayers about Nightmare Moon and the faith, hoping to prepare the faithful for if- no, when she would return again. He would write a new Nightmareist faith, one that wasn’t blindly loyal to her, but based on idea of reason and logic. A faith to convert even the most unbelieving heretics. Years of preaching and writing helped prepare him to write a holy book for the holiest of goddesses, Nightmare Moon, blessed be Her holy name.

(Word Bearer, a SE thestral theologian and preacher of Nightmareism, His holy mission itself was started by Nightmare Moon herself, ordained by Her in dreams, from even a young age. Though he isn’t a moonspeaker, he maintains the principles of one. A shame really, that heretics would deny a logical and rational faith.
