Description
Marble Vein finished her Sukhasana seated pose and then slowly she rose to her hooves. The early morning sun poured through the windows of the yoga studio filling it with warm, golden light. Slowly the unicorn mare walked to the front of the studio. There at the front of the room, bathed in the morning light was a beautiful white marble statue of Rarity performing a (Dandayamana Bharmanasana) Balancing Table pose.
Slowly Marble laid down on the statue. The morning sun had warmed the stone to the touch. For several seconds the unicorn slowly stroked the head of the statue. Then with a soft, sultry voice the mare spoke.
“Good morning. Sleep well? I just want to let you know that you have good form.” For several seconds the unicorn closed her eyes and was silent. Then she looked back down at the statue and smiled.
“Yes. Today is the 3rd day of your stay. I will say that you’ve been very inspiring to the new and returning students to the studio. The grand reopening has been a success and you’ve contributed much to that.”
Once again the mare closed her eyes and listened. Then she giggled softly. “Oh. I remember that I owe you a dinner when your spell auto-terminates. Yes I have already made reservations at the restaurant for us.”
Gracefully Marble Vein slid off the statue and rose to her hooves. Gently she stroked her right hand over the hard marble mane of the statue for a second. Then she walked over and rolled up her yoga mat. Then she looked back at the statue.
“Well I’m going to take my shower. The studio will be opening proper in about an hour. Have a good day and I’ll see tomorrow.” Then she slowly walked out of the studio and closed the door. Leaving the statue by itself in the morning light.
