No the plan was to play the games again with a tracking device in his teeth, so that the mercenaries can come in, kill all of the workers including the front man, save everyone and get the protag out. It’s still a bad plan, but GET IT RIGHT

This is actually the weakest point of Squid Game season 2, because it basically boils down to “There is an international cabal of virtually untouchable (dollar) billionaires who have killed thousands of people in their sick games. My plan is to somehow bring them down by playing those games again, even though I can die at any moment in them.” Apart from that, the season was pretty solid, although the novelty is obviously gone.

If I had a nickel for every time a main character in the franchise experienced some sort of repeat of a certain day, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s surprising that it’s happened twice.
