Equestria was a glorious kingdom under Princess Twilight’s reign until a strange Alicorn named Opaline appeared from “the lands above” and declared herself queen. Denied her claim by Twilight, she turned against her and threatened to destroy Equestria. This marked the beginning of the Final Battle for Equestria. Princess Flurry Heart, her little sister Diamond Heart and her friends fought alongside Twilight to restore the peace and harmony that had been lost.
