The writers really set the bar high when they had Lena Hall voice Coloratura in this episode. I enjoyed seeing her and Applejack as fillies and when she had the lady gaga look as well, if only for how weird she looked.
Dunno. Season 5 was the season for showing off cutie marks, which meant a lot of butt-shots. I just figured Coloratura’s way of doing it was racier than the others.

True, and because of that, it’s not noticeable. As Applejack put it, ponies “don’t normally wear clothes”.
But here Coloratura’s not only wearing clothes, she’s wearing clothes that call attention to her butt–you can see her cutie mark through them, for Celestia’s sake! That makes it more risque than just running around nude like most ponies.
Why? All the ponies shows their bare butts all the time.
