I wake up in Equestria. For some reason it doesn’t surprise me despite the fact that I was not only in Equestria but on the edge of the Everfree Forest. Thankfully, I was not alone: there were some ponies (And I was still a human, I perfectly remember fine my yellow shirt I worn), they weren’t surprised to see me either. I looked around: there were Twilight, Starlight, Maud, some pegasus in the sky I couldn’t recognize at such a distance and unknown to me earth pony filly. Oddly, I can’t even remind coat color of that filly.

Starlight turned towards me with a smile and took a few steps closer.
-Wanna try?
She nods somewhere aside and I noticed that she, Maud and Twilight has flying kites and Starlight holds her kite’s thread with magic.
-Um… I’ve done this before, once, - I answered uncertainly, - Sure, I do want.
Actually, I had never flown a kite before. Why did I lie to Starlight? I had no idea. But she seemed satisfied with my answer and invited me to follow her.

Soon we were in small house next to the edge of Evefree (was it Fluttershy’s cottage? No, doesn’t seem like that), and Starlight gave me… I didn’t even know what it was but it was definitely used to fly a kite.
-Prepare it. You know what to do, right? - Starlight tilted head a little.
I nodded and took that hing. And scissors. They were only instrument I could find. This “thing” was some like mix of different threads. One end made of smooth, thin threads, made in colors of Twilight’s mane: dark blue with two stripes: purple and raspberry. Other end made of thick wool threads, colored as Twilight’s coat. “Seem to be a Twilight’s reserve”, I thought for myself. I made a single cut on thick thread and small part fallen on the table. Starlight tilted her head on the other side still watching me. And I made another cut, cutting off another part of thick thread. I had no idea what I’m doing, of course. I even started to thing that it’s not for kite…
-…you don’t know what you’re doing, do you? - Starlight’s voice dragged me out of my thoughts.
-…yeah, - I felt my checks become red from embarrassment.
Starlight shook her head and took the ruined thing from my hands with her magic. That was sad. Not only because I possibly disappointed her (and ruined Twilight’s possession!), but also the fact that she decided to take the thing away with her magic. I didn’t feel anything, but I thought that felt touch of her hoof would be nice if she had decided to took it manually… Hoof’ually?

I blinked and opened my eyes again. I was in my own bed this Saturday morning. Just a dream…
