I thought it was just a little long. And not that bad even, just a slight angle.
What throws it off are the hair bangs. Twilight's hairline passes over the top of her eyes so her bangs cover the base of her horn. Even if the horn as is were shifted center it would appear on top of her head rather than from the forehead.
