Not sure why she’s my favorite, but she is.
But also, that’s one of the things that attracts me to the show. The characters feel very real, with positive and negative traits. They grow and learn, which is more than can be said for a LOT of TV shows meant for adults. The writing (at least in the first two seasons) is surprisingly very good.

For all the “generosity” thing she exploits everyone. She used Sweetie Belle as an actual draft horse. The thing with the tail and river monster was actually very out of character. Sure she got better… but early Rarity was a b-word.
