An official zoomed up screenshot of the “censorship of Twilight’s genitals” in Trade Ya!
The accepted story goes that someone on the animation team made actual horse genitals for Twilight as a joke, but nobody found out about it until late into production. With no time to reanimate, they did a quick cover up, but it is easy to see exactly what used to be there. Others say it is just an animation error.
It wasn’t rediscovered by the community until over a decade later.
