The timing of the announcement on the anniversary of G5’s debut movie makes it even more knife-twisting.

Hasbro having Gen 5 being a pesudo-continuation/extension of Gen 4 plus the COVID pandemic putting a major standstill in Hasbro’s business have to be reasons why the company just didn’t have the proper resources in promoting everything.

So disappointing.

The movie is over, they aren’t making another g5 movie. They canceled the 3d show when it was getting good, in favor of lobotomizing TYT in s2. So “just TYT ending” means there’s nothing left but rebooting or recycling the characters.
