It’s actually closer to “Love is dumb”.
“呆” (dāi) in Chinese can mean “dumb,” “stupid,” or “foolish,” and “是爱” means “is love.”
The … ん or whatever that is in Chinese is kind of an inflection.
In Japanese it’d be 愛は馬鹿 if you’re referring just to love being foolish or silly, or 愛は盲目 if love was MAKING someone foolish or silly.
But … I can’t the last character. Maybe someone else can help?
