Sweetie Belle: “It’s okay Scootaloo, I’m sure you’ll get your Cutie Mark soon enough.”

Scootaloo: “No I won’t! I can’t even do the things I’m good at anymore, how could I get a new special talent?”

Apple Bloom: “You won’t be able to if ya keep gettin’ yourself hurt! You gotta be more careful!

Scootaloo: “Whatever. It’s not like I meant to get hurt…”

The Cutie Mark Crusaders do exist in the Gamiverse, although not in the normal way. Their little “Cutie Mark Crusaders” mission doesn’t last very long for example, because Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle both get their Cutie Marks at around the same time everypony else does. Meanwhile, Scootaloo is left in the dust… not just in the Mark department, but a bit in the friendship department too.

Sweetie and Bloom are sisters-in-law even before the show starts, so they’ve bonded more closely for longer, making Scootaloo feeling like a third wheel at times. That plus her unstable living situation, neglectful parents, and her deformed wings? Scootaloo is having an extremely rough time. But her friends are there for her, and for that she should be grateful. Or something. It’s hard to look at the bright side when she’s one of the last blank flanks in Ponyville.

She constantly writes to her parents about her woes with no response. She can only imagine what they’re up to, or if they even care. Oh well, time for another Cutie Mark Crusader adventure… yaaaay…

I never really liked the whole three cutie mark shield thing in the show, especially since it’s never actually truly explained. I mean, I DO like the concept of linked Cutie Marks, but not the way it was executed in the show. So sorry you three, you’re a bit on the rocks for now. This is part one out of two pictures, however… it does get better for Scootaloo!

I have no toyhouses for any of them because… frankly i didn’t expect to draw them much but we’ll see. LOL
