Twilight and Twayvane are not just called Sisters of Harmony. Twilight is the keeper of the Elements of Harmony, Twayvane-Disharmony. Their rule is the most calm and peaceful in thousands of years of Equestria’s existence. It is for this reason that the beginning of their reign is called the Sunrise of Harmony.
Twilight Sparkle, like Celestia, began to control the sun and became known as the Queen of the Day. And Twayvane Sparkle, like Luna, began to control the moon and stars and became the new Queen of the Moon.
