Not everyone needs or even wants a mastectomy, but yeah .. those are like some mastectomy scars. Often they’re more on the side, or higher, but where they are can also indicate earlier breast reduction or even enlargement surgeries that were later reversed. Scars are complex.
And these could even be due to cancer - maybe the mastectomy was due to something else instead of the transition. People get surgeries there for a wide variety of reasons. Even men who never transition can have these kinds of surgical scars depending on their medical histories.
So … Fighting Sirens! Which is pretty danged cool, I think everyone would agree :)

Oh I get it now. It took a while for the gears in the brain to figure this one out. SS had a breast operation and those scars under the breasts where to remove unwanted bits to make them have a more male chest. SS didn’t want to explain this, so they said it was from fighting a Siren.
