It does the same thing as My Friendly Neighborhood where you genuinely care about the characters and the story, and the mascots actually seem like real mascots from a real franchise. It's not just using them as setpieces like some of the others did. Just hearing the developer talk on Twitter and stuff, it's really clear they're really passionate about it :D

Yes I see solid potential in it. The game is solid for what it is. But from what we see of it currently I threw at least USD$150 at the Kickstarter (which is around USD$227,920 over the 50k asked for) and bought 2 plushies from makeship. (If which is on its way to being the 4th most funded plush on the site)
So yeah I'm excited to see where it gets to in the future.
As I stated earlier I don't like earlier I don't like the horror genre. I am where I'm at because of Rambley. The characters certainly work with what story is asking for.
