It’s never explicitly stated, but so many of the ponies in Canterlot are white like her, my headcanon is that over the last thousand years she’s had enough kids that most of the royal families there are in some way blood-related to her. It’s why Blueblood calls Celestia his “Auntie,” it flows better than great-great-great-grandma.
