Probably because of how her biological parents wanted to bring her along with them on some adventure, but that would mean she has to leave all her friends in Ponyville.
Plus, with the Scootadpotion tag, it's most likely is also because the idea of RD's parents having already adopted her and then her biological parents just show up again after being gone for so long and just expecting her to accept them, or something like that.
