Say hello to Blood Moon’s Ex-Boyfriend, Thunder Struck, or Speedy, or his real name Speed Twig. He tried to manipulate Blood Moon so he was the only pony in her life, and it almost worked. He pushed to fare one day and she hit him, causing the scar across his cheek, almost like hers. Because of this, she realizes what he was doing to her and breaks up with him. This is what instils the fear that she is not worth loving because she is just like her mother, violent. She changed her name from Midnight Sprint to Blood Moon and moved to the house she now lives in to try and keep away from him, and yet somehow 23 years later he still finds her.

Just a bit of lore dump about the drawing. I’ve had this idea for awhile but thought now, after V-day, would be the best time to do it, because we need to really celebrate the people who got out of bad relationships and into good ones ^^
