Man, Leaf is REALLY bad at winking.

This is stunning. Never before have I seen such a beautiful, awe-inspiring gif posted to this website. Truly, the heights of the human, and pony, condition are encapsulated perfectly in but a few brief frames with it. From the blinking, wincing visage of the dragon, Zipp’s eternal antithesis of such actions, and Misty’s subtle head movements to the solemn peace of the background, never has a juxtaposition struck me so fervently. Notice as well the flash of white on Leaf’s head, as it signals, in an instant, a return to the humble origins of her strained visage. Additionally, the background offers a plethora of insight into our modern era; for but a brief time have we ever had such clear views of digital landscapes to begin with, let alone in such an optimized format. Rough stony ground gives way to a smooth path, similarly leading to the out-of-place perfection of the Mare Stream Magic-Van, highlighted in its polished glimmer. A minor detail few would notice without repeated viewings would be the watermark on the lower right side, alluding again to a modern marvel in the accessibility of content production.
