Apparently it does. I’m just watching A New Generation again and when Argyle tells Sunny the story he says “many, many moons ago”.
We need to look over all the uses of moon in G5.
Do we have any evidence that it isn’t?

G4 creators have stated it doesn’t correlate to anything real/consistent.
Going off of memory here, they all seem to be either from A New Generation or Chapter 1.
The only one that isn’t from either is Zipp’s last quote which, after checking, found out it’s from Winter Wishday.
Second Hitch quote: When he’s arguing with Sunny after getting her out of Canterlogic
Second Izzy quote: Says it after Zipp remarks on her own sneakiness (“I can be pretty sneaky when I want to be.”)
Fourth Izzy quote: After Sunny remarks that the depressed unicorns in Bridlewood are “so different from Izzy.”
Second Pipp quote: It’s her very first scene, when her livestream is broadcasted to the town of Zephyr Heights.
Fourth Pipp quote: I think this is after Sunny says that to get into Bridlewood the cast “needs to look like unicorns” and asks Izzy to make them disguises. It’s right before Fit Right In.
Second Zipp quote: After she goes to see Sunny and Izzy in the Zephyr Heights dungeon. The actual line is just “Zipp. Just…call me Zipp.”
