“Trixie doesn’t understand what you’re trying to achieve with this ridiculous spell, Sparkle - In fact, Trixie just thinks you’re trying to ‘flex’ like the humans say… Trix… Ugh… Look, I know we’ve got a history, Sparkle, and I haven’t forgotten what I did in my hubris or for the sake of entertainment, and the fact that you had to fix my mess both times- I get it, you’re more powerful than me… But I don’t need to stay here and watch you lord it over me like this!”

Hey everyone,
Today is the first time I’ve ever done a Trixie, and I will be doing more of her as soon as I can- including in her iconic outfit. (I had intended to depict it here, but I ran out of free time to do so.)
In my AU, Trixie is, for the most part, unchanged from her canon appearances, yet is a little more short-tempered and far likely to metaphorically “needle” or provoke Twilight Sparkle. This mostly comes in the form of verbal barbs to be delivered at any opportunity, but never to the point of violence for either party.
It annoys Twilight to no end, but she lets it slide more often than not, as she understands that that’s just how Trixie is. Also, Starlight Glimmer doesn’t like the tension between them and tries to keep Trixie and Twilight apart to prevent these little spats.
Naturally, Trixie tends to feel that pretty much anything that Twilight does is an insult directed at her and her self-perceived inadequacies - even though Twilight does not intend for this at all.
Her friendship with Starlight is a wholesome and fulfilling one for both mares, and Starlight can keep tabs on her friends and prevent an escalation. Away from her feud with Twilight, Trixie is a good, fairly self-sufficient mare who is making a name for herself again with her tours of Equestria. Generally respected and liked, she is trying hard to restore her reputation with the public.
Trixie will be getting a full and detailed bio like my OCs, and so will some other canon characters too - well, at least those with more substantial differences from their original versions.
