Everything about her situation made it seem like the staff didn’t want to piss off the people who had held up Scootaloo as a quality example of disability representation, but also didn’t want to disappoint the fans who were hoping to see her fly after watching her struggle.
Though introducing her to the wonderful world of aeronautics would have been a logical compromise:
