For those who don't understand, especially not in eastern Europe:

The white blue flag was used by activists to call for an end to the ongoing war by russia against Ukraine. The red replaced by white represents "enough with militarism".

This is why the artist used the red stripe as blood. Not from pride and bravery, but from killing someone.
